When and Where We Worship
We worship every Sunday at 10:00 a.m. Our liturgical service usually lasts about an hour. Our church is located at 1000 South Jackson (Hwy 69) in Jacksonville, Texas. Parking is available in the lot behind the church or on Tyler Street next to the church.
What We Believe
The mission of The Episcopal Church, as stated in the Book of Common Prayer’s catechism, is “to restore all people to unity with God and each other in Christ.” In step with that mission, we follow Jesus into loving, liberating, and life-giving relationships with God, with each other, and with the earth.

What to Expect
We are are a small church with an average Sunday attendance of about 35, and we feel more like a family than a congregation. Sunday attire ranges from suits, slacks, and dresses to more casual wear. Many of our members gather for coffee and fellowship both before and after the service.
The Book of Common Prayer provides a framework for worship and the text for most of the prayers in the Episcopal Church. Worship is a mix of readings, prayers, hymns and a sermon. Each week, while the priest leads the service, the congregation participates extensively—singing hymns and speaking or singing prayers, the creed (statements of our beliefs), responses and psalms (sacred poems). Copies of the Book of Common Prayer and the Hymnal are housed in the church pews. Holy Communion is celebrated every Sunday and all are welcome at the Lord's Table.
What About Child Care?
Because we are a small congregation, child care is not available. However, we welcome families to our family and consider it a blessing when children participate in the worship service.
